Get To Know Me!
Welcome to my professional portfolio website!
I'm Yazmin, a resilient architecture graduate specializing in sustainable design and urban planning. I hold a RIBA Part 2 accredited Masters degree in Architecture with Urban Planning (Honours).
With a strong focus on liveability and drawing inspiration from nature, I am deeply passionate about creating sustainable spaces that prioritize reuse, passive design, and circularity.
In addition to my architectural expertise, I am honoured to serve as the Awards Coordinator for the Duke of Edinburgh organization, having achieved the prestigious DofE Gold Award myself. I have also completed courses on professional ethics and leadership through the Royal Town Planning Institute and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Some of my notable achievements include successfully summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in 2022, raising over £2,500 for the Meningitis Research Foundation while balancing full-time university studies, and taking on the role of 'Challenge Leader' at my university.
When I'm not immersed in my professional pursuits, I find joy in observing nature, particularly while walking my dog and sketching. I have a deep appreciation for travel, meeting new people, and engaging in a variety of recreational activities such as rock climbing, surfing, snowboarding, kayaking, reading, and photography.
